1. General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets and admission to the Lumière de Paris cultural festival, organized and managed by Lumière de Paris ("the Organizer"). By purchasing a ticket or entering the festival premises, attendees ("the Ticket Holder") agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.
The festival takes place at various selected venues across Paris, with the main administrative office located at 15 Avenue de Suffren, 75007 Paris, France. These terms reflect the applicable laws of France governing public events and consumer rights.
2. Ticketing and Admissions
All tickets are generated electronically and distributed via email upon successful completion of payment. A valid e-ticket (scannable on a mobile device or printed clearly) is strictly required for entry. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission if a ticket appears modified, duplicated, or otherwise invalid.
- Tickets are strictly personal and non-transferable unless explicitly permitted through our official resale partner portal.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times within the festival grounds.
- Concession, student, or discounted tickets require valid identification to be presented at the venue entrance. Failure to provide ID may result in an upgrade fee.
3. Program Changes and Cancellation
While the Organizer endeavors to present the program as advertised, Lumière de Paris reserves the right to alter the schedule, artist lineup, and specific event locations without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, or technical difficulties.
In the event of a total cancellation of the festival prior to its commencement (excluding instances of Force Majeure), ticket holders will be offered a refund equal to the face value of the ticket. The Organizer is not liable for associated secondary costs such as travel, accommodation, or third-party booking fees.
4. Code of Conduct and Security
For the safety, security, and enjoyment of all guests, Lumière de Paris enforces a strict code of conduct. Professional security personnel will conduct mandatory bag checks at all venue entrances.
- Prohibited items include outside food and beverages, professional recording equipment (unless press-accredited), glass containers, illegal substances, and any items considered dangerous.
- The Organizer reserves the absolute right to remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, or contravenes these terms, without entitlement to a refund or compensation.
5. Liability and Governing Law
The Organizer assumes no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained during the event, except where legally mandated under French law due to gross negligence by the Organizer.
These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from or related to the festival, ticketing, or these terms will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, Île-de-France.
